The Teacher's Path helps aspiring yoga teachers establish a strong foundation of knowledge and helps guide them to find their own unique expression as an instructor. The Teacher's Path is the Longwave Yoga 200-hour+ comprehensive Teacher Training recognized by Yoga Alliance, the standard-setting organization for yoga teachers and yoga schools internationally. We are inspired to educate teachers through genuine experience and honest guidance, steeped in inquiry, observation, and a true integration of experiential learning. Longwave’s teacher training will prepare you to teach a full spectrum vinyasa class that focuses on method, mindfulness, and creativity. After receiving the certification, you will be qualified to register with Yoga Alliance, as well as become eligible for the Longwave Yoga Apprenticeship program and 300-hour Advanced Teacher Training program. These three programs equate to a 500-hour RYT certification.

The Practitioner's Path is for those who have been moved by the profound depth of the yogic teachings and want to grow their understanding. Immerse yourself into Longwave Yoga's celebrated Training Program and discover new insights into your practice. This path is for those who don't see themselves wanting to teach, but are ready to explore the history of yoga, alignment, sequencing, pranayama, meditation, western and eastern anatomy, yogic texts, and Bhakti yoga. Through group and self-inquiry, participants will be able to observe and integrate the teachings of yoga into their daily lives. The practitioner's path allows one to move through material at their pace over the course of our annual programming. Coursework is not required, and teaching certification is not issued to participants of this path.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference. The Teacher Tune-up supports those who have priorly completed a teacher training program at the 200-hour level or higher. This program is experiential learning designed for those who desire to cultivate clarity in their teaching. This continued education will develop precision, purpose, and confidence in teaching and practicing yoga. Materials covered include yogic philosophy, asana alignment, hands-on assisting, pranayama, meditation, anatomy and physiology, subtle energetic anatomy, sequencing, and instructing yoga classes. The Teacher Tune-up allows one to identify the needed areas of additional practice and study, and to participate over the course of our annual teacher training program in a highly mentored workshop setting. CEU's are also available on this path.
